604 RECORDS’ COMEDY division, Comedy Here Often?, is hosting a virtual laugh fest to help the fight against the novel coronavirus.
Stop Going Viral is a free livestream happening in partnership with the Pan American Health Organization. The virtual event will raising funds to support the work of frontline workers across North, South, and Central America.
The festival will feature interviews with Deb DiGiovanni, Matt Selman, Neal Brennan, Will Arnett, Mark Norman, Mark Hoppus, Dan Soder, and other funny folks.
Comedy Here Often? Podcast Network hosts such as Trent McClellan, Katie Ellen Humphries, Derek Sequin, and Sterling Scott will also make appearances.
“With all that’s going on in the world, and on the heels of our Comedy Here Often? Podcast Network launch, we knew it was the perfect time to create something truly special to raise funds and lift our spirits,” Jonathan Simkin, president of 604 Records, said in a release. “We’ve got such great comedic talent here in Canada, let’s celebrate it while doing some good for the world.”
