New Works proudly presents All Over the Map, a free series of outdoor dance and music performances taking place across Granville Island this summer. The series will include three diverse performances in July, August, and September.

An afternoon of wild and wonderful movement happens July 17 at 3 pm at the Picnic Pavillion.

Katie Cassady will share funky fungi, a contemporary dance duet focused on interpreting and expressing the existence of fungi, mycelia networks and mushrooms.

Little Fish Productions brings Fantastic Fun Zone to the stage, an all ages contemporary dance and physical theatre performance that explores our quest for human connection and joy, derived from a time where physical distancing from others was a necessary reality.

Finally, the Mexican Dance Ensemble takes audiences on a dance journey through Mexican history and resilience. The group will perform dances from the South to the North of Mexico along with strong footwork and faldeo (skirt movement), the dancers full of pride and happiness.

All Over the Map—July 17 welcomes audiences of all ages to this outdoor, free afternoon of dance and music.
