Arts Umbrella's annual International Summer Dance Intensive continues to August 23

Immersive program at company’s Granville Island facility features a guest faculty of more than 20 world-renowned instructors this year

This year’s International Summer Dance Intensive is underway at Arts Umbrella. World-renowned teachers, choreographers, and repetiteurs are offering a diverse group of dancers a one-of-a-kind movement experience.

International Summer Dance Intensive runs from August 5 to 23 for advanced dancers ages 12 and up, and includes ballet, pointe, modern, Gaga, contemporary, and more. This full-day, three-week program offers dancers an immersive and elevated experience at Arts Umbrella’s Granville Island facility, which is home to six large dance studios and a 132-seat theatre.

The guest faculty for this program is extensive, with over 20 talented and experienced instructors on deck. Admission is by audition only, and information about the 2025 program will be released this fall.
