Bringing magic and meaning to the beautiful seawall, Liven UP – Coal Harbour is a free month-long family-friendly activation that sets lighting installations, artists, musicians, and storytellers along a spectacular walk from Canada Place to Cardero Park from December 1 to 30.

A new event sure to entertain and create a sense of wonder, Liven UP – Coal Harbour brings people together to share experiences, and connect with cultural groups that have helped shape the city.

Lighting installations, including Vancouver favourites Luna the Whale and Davie the Grizzly Bear, are placed at key points along the route. Performance areas are activated every Friday and Saturday evening from 5 pm to 10 pm, and include a large, cozy tented hub in Harbour Green Park that features a live music stage presenting over 150 musicians, plus a specialty bar offering delectable alcoholic and non-alcoholic hot drinks.
