Firehall Arts Centre presents Ann Mortifee’s Juno Award-nominated family musical Reflections on Crooked Walking from November 30 to December 22, with showtimes at 1 pm, 3 pm, and 7:30 pm.

Directed by Donna Spencer with musical direction by Bill Costin, Reflections on Crooked Walking follows four unlikely friends in search of a cure for a sleeping sickness that has overtaken their town. When they follow the clues left by the magical Doorman, they encounter the mysterious manipulator Opia. As she tries to stop their journey, Gabby, Reverend Blinkers, Feathertoes, and Sufferton rise to the challenge, learning more about what friendship truly means. Opia’s minions, Wayless and Nimbleknees, soon join in the games, confounding the situation even further.

Mortifee is a multi-faceted performing artist who was appointed a Member of the Order of Canada for her contribution to the arts.

Tickets to Reflections on Crooked Walking are available through the Firehall Arts Centre.
