The Firehall Arts Centre, along with The McGrane-Pearson Endowment Fund, presents Ann Mortifee’s Reflections on Crooked Walking from December 2 to 24 with showtimes at 1 pm, 3 pm, and 7:30 pm. Opening night is on December 6 at 7:30 pm, and post-show talkbacks take place December 7, 14, and 21.

Directed by Donna Spencer, Reflections on Crooked Walking is a Juno Award-nominated family musical that tells the tale of four people who find themselves the only ones left awake surrounded by sleeping townspeople. Their journey in search of a cure for the mysterious sleeping sickness leads them down a surprising path of deeper self-awareness.

Mortifee is a multi-faceted performing artist whose albums, concerts, musicals, scores, and book have won numerous distinctions and awards. She is a member of The Order of Canada, and a recipient of the YWCA Woman of Distinction Award.
