A crowd favourite when it premiered at the Firehall Arts Centre in 2012 followed by a successful Canadian tour, Chelsea Hotel: The Songs of Leonard Cohen returns this winter from February 3 to March 3, with showtimes at 1 pm, 3 pm, and 7:30 pm.

Haunted by memories of his tumultuous love life, a writer checks into New York’s infamous Chelsea Hotel desperate to find the words and inspiration for his next song. Wading through past relationships, he reluctantly comes face to face with the love of the present—a love he wishes he could erase from memory.

Cohen’s powerful, transcendent songs are the heartbeat of the show, an inventive blend of music, dance, and theatre directed by Tracey Power and produced by Donna Spencer.

To toast Cohen’s legacy and 342 performances of Chelsea Hotel, the Firehall is holding a special event on February 23 called ENDLESS LOVE. Tickets are $100 and include the performance, a pre-show reception hosted by Artistic Producer Donna Spencer (6:30pm) with complimentary canapés and bubbles, and a post-show mingle to meet the cast and crew of Chelsea Hotel. A $25 tax receipt will be issued per ticket.

Tickets and details are available here.
