Heart to Home Holiday Market returns to Surrey Art Gallery this festive season
The hand-made arts market features one-of-a-kind gifts by local artists

Calling all art and craft lovers: Surrey Art Gallery Association (SAGA) is hosting its annual Heart to Home Holiday Market at the Surrey Arts Centre on November 27 from 11 am to 5 pm and November 28 from noon to 4 pm.
The market takes place in the Studio Theatre at the Surrey Arts Centre, which is home to Surrey Art Gallery. Admission is free, and proof of vaccination will be required.
The Heart to Home Holiday Market proudly features amazing pieces by local artists. Shoppers will find hand-made chocolates, ceramics, home-made jams and jellies, hand-felted and hand-knit scarves and hats, jewellery, paintings, prints, photographs, cards, and more.
There’s also the opportunity to meet many of the artists who will bring along more of their works than what currently fits in the gift shop.

Among the new gift shop artists this year are Flavia Chan, whose booth will be filled with adorable pins, stickers, and quirky illustrations; and Valerie Davidson-Oar, an Anishinaabe artist who makes brightly coloured, long-beaded earrings and other jewellery that reflect her First Nations ancestry.
Old favourites will be back too, such as ceramicist Murray Sanders, who will be giving demos on the potter’s wheel and displaying his masterfully crafted functional ware.
