The Improv Centre on Granville Island is serving up a trio of holiday comedic treats, right through to New Year’s Eve.
The family-friendly festive show Happy (Hectic) Holidays runs until December 24, following The Improv Centre’s charming holiday host through the ups and downs of having loved ones over for the Yuletide celebrations. What could possibly go wrong?
After that, relive the hilarious highlights of 2022 with Year in Review, running December 27 to December 31 at 7:30pm. In the show, The Improv Centre’s ensemble members celebrate the year with improvisation inspired by the fun, offbeat, and unbelievable true moments of 2022. Relive some of the happier stories and discover amazing things, from around the world or from your own back yard.
Finally, join The Improv Centre in welcoming 2023 with libations and laughter at NYE at TIC on December 31. With two shows to choose from (9:30pm and 11:15pm) you can build in big laughs around this special night. Ring in the new year with an evening filled with fun, frivolity, and improv comedy—and stick around to enjoy the centre’s fully licensed bar and lounge that overlooks False Creek Marina.
