U.K. blues musician Martin Harley closes out this season’s Cabaret series at the Kay Meek Arts Centre with two intimate performances on May 16 and 17 at 7:30 pm.

Harley has been making music and touring the world for over two decades, and his sound has never been more down to earth. Exploring roots, blues, and slide guitar, Harley has released eight albums to date—four recorded on home soil in the U.K., and four across the Atlantic in Texas and Nashville.

In 2022, the musician released Harley Kimbro Lewis with Grammy-nominated artists Daniel Kimbro and Sam Lewis, his collaborators of more than a decade. The laid-back album is reminiscent of an early American songbook.

Harley’s notable appearances include Glastonbury Festival, Beautiful Days, Royal Albert Hall, Tønder Festival, Troubadour, and at home round the fire pit with his two daughters.
