Brought to life by the Merchants of West 4th Avenue, Khatsahlano Street Party returns for its 11th year on July 8 along West 4th Avenue between Burrard Street and MacDonald Street. Showcasing over 50 bands across seven stages, the action-packed day of fun has a stacked musical lineup to behold.
Community staple Zulu Records has curated the perfect playlist for the event, filled with something for everyone. Vancouver’s own indie rock darlings Yukon Blonde bring their unique sonic aesthetic to the Burrard Stage, presented by TD and Stir. More Burrard Stage highlights include singer-songwriter-producer Louise Burns, and contemporary alt-pop band Daysormay.
Hot off the heels of his Going Coastal tour, Pink Mountaintops will be rocking out on the MacDonald Stage, brought to audiences by Third.Space and Daily Hive. Playing the same stage are guitar-slinging road warrior Skye Wallace, indie musician-turned-TikTok sensation Noble Son, and Juno award-winner Desireé Dawson, among others.
Further exciting performance highlights include singer-songwriter Tariq Hussian, contemporary alt-pop artist WALLGRIN, and many more.
“For all of us involved in presenting Khatsahlano, we are grateful for the opportunity to present such a diverse selection of some of the finest music this region has to offer,” shared Zulu Records owner Grant McDonagh in a release. “Khatsahlano again showcases so many great local musicians, worthy of seeing year round, wherever they might perform. Such a selection of talent encompassing 10 blocks … It's truly a treat to the ears of anyone attending!”
