Singer Krystle Dos Santos delves into digital-concert realm, January 28 and February 4
Recenty seen in the musical revue Hey Viola!, she sings her own work this time out

Krystle Dos Santos performs via Surrey Civic Theatres’ Digital Stage on January 29 at 7 pm, available to March 12; and at Live Streaming at the ’Bolt on February 4 at 8 pm.
RECENTLY SEEN onstage as pioneering Black activist Viola Desmond in the musical Hey, Viola!, local songstress Krystle Dos Santos is back with her own signature, soulful sound for two online concerts.
Via Surrey Civic Theatres’ Digital Stage on January 29 at 7 pm, she’ll put her voice, which spans the velvety-smooth to the fiery-fierce, to an acoustic set of jazz- and blues-inflected songs from her latest album, BLOOM|BURN. She’s accompanied by guitarist Gavin Youngash. The premiere also includes a post-show live Q&A with Dos Santos.
On February 4, Dos Santos takes the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts stage for a concert via Live Streaming at the ’Bolt. You can tune in early, at 7:30 pm, for a pre-recorded dance piece by Vancouver choreographic star Vanessa Goodman.
The show is part of a Thursday-night series of concerts that continue through April. It kicks off with a free show by Rumba Calzada on January 28.
