Little Miss Higgins

Canadian singer-songwriter Little Miss Higgins is set to play the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts on November 4 at 8 pm.

Born in Alberta and raised in Kansas, Little Miss Higgins now makes her home in Manitoba, where she juggles performing and parenthood.

For more than 15 years, the artist with the indelible, clear-as-Prairie-sunshine voice has performed, toured, collaborated on, and recorded and released five independent albums featuring her unique brew of early country blues, jazz and folk.

Her music has won three Western Canadian Music Awards and received JUNO, Maple Blues, and Canadian Folk Music Awards nominations.

Her latest album, My Home, My Heart remains true to Higgins’s roots, but ventures into new territory.
