In partnership with CMHC Granville Island, New Works has just announced the return of All Over the Map, a vibrant series of free outdoor dance performances on Granville Island.

Featuring eight artists and groups across four performances, this year’s event will take place on July 21 and August 11 at the Granville Island Picnic Pavilion. Performances will be held at 1 pm and 3 pm on both days, offering visitors a family-friendly cultural experience that celebrates diversity and artistic expression.

The artists featured on July 21 include traditional Métis- and contemporary-dance company V’ni Dansi; Kathak dancer Palak Dhiman; traditional Chinese dancer-musician Eva Cho; and multidisciplinary African performance company Afrobeats Van.

On August 11, audiences will see contemporary-street dance duo Rina&Simziez; Kuchipudi dancer Amulya Keshoju; cultural ensemble Roots Peruvian Folk Dance; and multicultural view of Spanish flamenco Mozaico Flamenco.
