Known as the “King of the high Cs”, Camarena’s stunning voice and thrilling high notes have made him a sensation in opera houses worldwide. On October 3 at 6 pm, he will grace the stage of the historic UBC Old Auditorium for a one-of-a-kind evening.

This intimate event offers more than just a performance—audience members will also get to enjoy an exclusive interview with Camarena, chair of the UBC School of Music’s voice and opera divisions. The unique insight into Camarena’s extraordinary career will be followed by a masterclass with members of the UBC Opera ensemble in a rare behind-the-scenes look at opera training.
