From ballet and contemporary to Vogue, flamenco, and Mexican folk dance, the annual Scotiabank Dance Centre Open House offers an opportunity to sample an exciting range of dance styles in an afternoon of free classes and events.

The 23rd edition takes place on September 14 from 12 pm to 5 pm, with a diverse afternoon lineup of 11 events. Featured artists and companies include Flamenco Rosario, Adam Grant Warren, Ralph Escamillan of Van Vogue Jam, Alex Litvinoff of Performance Clinic, Alina Sotskova of Voirelia Dance Hub, Lourdes Ruiz of Mexican Dance Ensemble Vancouver, Isaac Gasangwa of Afrobeats Van, and more.

Located in downtown Vancouver, Scotiabank Dance Centre is a vibrant cultural hub and one of Canada’s flagship dance facilities. It welcomes tens of thousands of visitors every year, and hosts performances, classes, workshops, meetings, and events of all kinds.
