Shadbolt Centre for the Arts presents spiritual music performers Amai Kuda et Les Bois in concert on April 26 at 7 pm.
Amai Kuda et Les Bois have made their mark on Toronto’s music scene over the years, performing at such venues as the Jane Mallett Theatre, Harbourfront Centre, and the Rivoli; events among the likes of Luminato Festival, Kultrun World Music Festival, and Small World Music Festival; plus venues and community centres on four continents.
The virtuoso musicians have been featured in NOW magazine and on CBC’s Canada Live and Big City, Small World, while a single from their 2019 release Holding Back with Version Xcursion premiered on the Strombo Show. They’ve opened for Joel Plaskett, Kellylee Evans, and Sarah Slean, and collaborated with M-1 of the legendary hip-hop duo Dead Prez on a call-to-action song called “We Can Do It”.
