The Jeremy Ledbetter Trio is set to play a cabaret lounge-style show at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts on October 26 at 7:30 pm.
In a stirring follow-up to their 2018 debut Got a Light?, the Jeremy Ledbetter Trio returns with its new album Gravity, a high-powered set of original music brimming with fresh ideas. Tracks are delivered with the jaw-dropping virtuosity and musicality of pianist Jeremy Ledbetter, electric bassist Rich Brown, and drummer Larnell Lewis. This is a group very much at home tackling intricate lines and rhythms, drawing from jazz, rock, funk, and varied Latin genres, often at a high level of intensity.
Ledbetter won a Juno Award in 2023 as co-producer of Okantomi by Afro-Cuban jazz group OKAN, and has secured several other wins and nominations for Juno Awards and Canadian Folk Music Awards as both a producer and musician.
Tickets are available at the Shadbolt Centre.
