Shadbolt Centre for the Arts hosts Paul Pigat on February 4 at 7:30 pm, for a concert featuring cabaret-style general seating and a bar.

A Vancouver-based guitar virtuoso, Pigat’s upbeat, creative, and dynamic shows inevitably leave audiences wanting more of his infectious music.

Pigat has been at the helm of several local projects throughout his career, including a run of over two decades with hillbilly-infused rockabilly trio Cousin Harley. There’s also his solo endeavour Boxcar Campfire, which puts a more reflective, romantic spin on Pigat’s genre-mixing style.

The musician is backed up at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts by the Smoking Jackets, which is made up of drummer Jesse Cahill, trumpet player Derry Byrne, tenor saxophonist Cory Weeds, and baritone saxophonist Jerry Cook, plus a bassist and a keyboardist, both soon-to-be announced.

Tickets and more information is available via the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts.
