Samantha Martin & Delta Sugar bring soulful sounds to the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts
The powerhouse band will share tracks from its stunning new album, The Reckless One
Experience a vocal tour-de-force as Samantha Martin and her band, Delta Sugar, take to the stage for an evening of astonishingly powerful, funky, and deeply soulful music, featuring tracks from their latest album, The Reckless One. It’s a follow-up to 2018’s Juno-nominated Run To Me.
A dynamic front woman, Martin has a stunning voice that takes audiences to emotional peaks, backed by the gospel-infused harmonies of the band’s rhythm section, Hammond organ, and soulful horns.
It’s sure to be a night to remember with this Maple Blues Award-nominated group.
Multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, record producer, and bluesman Steve Marriner plays the opening set.
The concert takes place on November 24 from 8 to 10 pm at Shadbolt Centre for the Arts (6450 Deer Lake Avenue).
