Leading Czech ensemble the Smetana Trio performs in Vancouver for Friends of Chamber Music
The celebrated musical group features Jitka Cechová on piano, Jan Talich on violin, and Jan Pálenícek on cello
Friends of Chamber Music are delighted to welcome back the Smetana Trio, who last performed for us in Vancouver in 2019.
Join us on November 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the Vancouver Playhouse to hear the foremost of today’s Czech chamber ensembles.
The Smetana Trio consists of Jitka Cechová (piano), Jan Talich (violin), and Jan Pálenícek (cello).

For this concert, the Smetana Trio will perform Rachmaninoff’s Trio élégiaque in G minor, Martinů’s Piano Trio No.3 in C major, Opus 32, and Smetana’s Piano Trio in G minor, Opus 15.
