In celebration of Co.ERASGA's 20th anniversary season, the company is pleased to premiere Offering, created by artistic director and acclaimed choreographer Alvin Erasga Tolentino. This collection of solo works, performed by six diverse dancers who are among Vancouver’s finest, aspires to honour the living practice of dance while rising to the challenge of keeping the art form alive and presenting it safely during this unprecedented time of the pandemic crisis and isolation.

How do our bodies relate, move, and dance at this critical time of adversity? In this new creation, Tolentino asks each dancer to explore movement as a form of prayer allowing the dance to transcend luminous energy. The solos collectively transform Offering into a performance ritual, evoking a spiritual reach for a universal interconnect, awareness, and healing.

Co.ERASGA's milestone season comes at a challenging and unprecedented time being in the middle of a pandemic, however the company’s intention has always been to keep dance alive and to dance with gratitude. That mandate is unwavering as the company create arts and community programming safely.

Presented at Anvil Centre (777 Columbia Street, New Westminster), Offering takes place November 28 & 29 at 3 pm with two viewing options for audiences: live performance (with full pandemic protocols in place, including physical distancing) and livestream.

Tickets for live performances are $25 for adults and $20 for students, seniors and artists. Tickets for live performances can be purchased here.

Tickets for livestream performances are by donation on a sliding scale of $5 to $30. Tickets for livestream performances are available here.
