Corporeal Imago’s stunning blend of aerial acrobatics, contemporary dance, and visual theatre opens a new season of The Dance Centre’s popular Discover Dance! noon-hour series on October 31 at 12 pm.

Created by Corporeal Imago artistic directors Gabrielle Martin and Jeremiah Hughes, Limb(e)s is a hypnotic and quietly riveting drama danced from floor to air by Eowynn Enquist and Isak Enquist.

Martin and Hughes started collaborating while performing with Cirque du Soleil, and co-founded Corporeal Imago in 2018. The company’s work has been presented across Canada and at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where Limb(e)s was nominated for a TOTAL THEATRE Award in Physical and Visual Theatre. Corporeal Imago is artist-in-residence at The Dance Centre this season.

The Dance Centre has presented the Discover Dance! series since 2002, highlighting the diversity of B.C.’s dance scene in an accessible format.

Tickets to Limb(e)s are available through The Dance Centre.
