Lamondance will take the stage at the Scotiabank Dance Centre on April 20 at 12 pm, as part of The Dance Centre’s Discover Dance! series.

The anticipated performance will feature two distinct pieces. The first is a remount of How it ends, a work originally choreographed in 2018 by Lamondance’s artistic director Davi Rodrigues which explores the subject of addiction. The dancers will also showcase a new creation by Indigenous Toronto-based choreographer Jera Wolfe, which was produced for Lamondance’s professional company.

Lamondance is a contemporary dance training company designed for emerging artists about to embark on a professional performing career. Drawing talented individuals from Canada and overseas, and commissioning bold and inventive choreography, Rodrigues molds ensembles of honed, expressive, and fluent performers.

The Discover Dance! series hosts informative and inspiring performances by B.C. companies and artists, highlighting a wide range of dance genres.

Tickets to the show and more information can be found at The Dance Centre.
