The Polygon Gallery presents Art Auction 2023, a collection of 22 significant works in an online auction supporting the gallery’s 2024 exhibition program and the participating artists.

Many of the artists featured in the auction are pillars of the local art scene, including several critical emerging voices. The majority have been presented in exhibitions at The Polygon Gallery and are rising to international acclaim. Art Auction 2023 is an opportunity to celebrate artists whose remarkable work has vitally shaped the gallery since it opened its North Vancouver location’s doors in 2017.

There are artworks available for a variety of price points, with each piece ranging in estimated value from $1,250 all the way to $30,000. All 22 pieces included in Art Auction 2023 can be browsed online, and are also on display in person at The Polygon Gallery until November 12. Bidding is now open, and takes place online up until November 8 at 9 pm.

Bidding on work champions these artists’ careers directly, as well as the gallery outreach that their work inspires. Thanks to this crucial support, The Polygon Gallery is able to welcome thousands of visitors each year to engage first-hand with artists and artwork at no cost or by donation through such initiatives as Kids First Weekends for families, Gallery School for youth, and Meet Me at The Gallery for senior adults, among others.

Interested individuals can learn more about a work or place a bid by accessing the Art Auction 2023 website at auction.thepolygon.ca.
