To mark the closing of ANTI-ICON: APOKALYPSIS, The Polygon Gallery is presenting P.L.U.R.O.M.A. (Peace Love Unity Respect Oxygen Music and Autonomy) on September 26, a multimedia fashion show produced by Liquidation World under the creative direction of artist Katayoon Yousefbigloo.

Bringing together performance, live-feed video installation, photography, music, and front-row drama, the P.L.U.R.O.M.A. runway shows are produced by a community of experimental artists and fashion elite. The spectacle is setting sail across the harbour for its third season to launch the 2024 Resort collection at The Polygon Gallery with a complete takeover of the waterfront property.

This season’s artists are Dana Qaddah, Jake Kimble, Khan Lee, Maya Beaudry, Mobilize, Second Spring Apparel (Julian Hou and others), Olga Abeleva and Leon, and Ximena Velázquez, in addition to Liquidation World’s in-house line.

Liquidation World is an art collective formed in 2021 with the intention of producing and showcasing experimental artworks and performances. The collective undertakes projects that combine different practices and communities in unconventional presentation spaces, producing unexpected and incalculable phenomena as a result.

In 2022, the collective curated Wrong Wave: The Liquidation World Guide to Maximizing Your Autonomy, a multi-venue festival of art rock, experimental film, visual art, and community projects. Other past projects include an open-submission art consignment store, a multi-room audiovisual rock opera, visual-art exhibitions, a laser show, video performances and installations, and an ongoing series of screenprinting events and artist-led workshops.

Liquidation World currently operates a multi-purpose art space at 1965 Main Street, in addition to supporting off-site projects and collaborations.

Tickets to P.L.U.R.O.M.A. are available for purchase in three tiers: General Admission, V.I.P. GOLD (which includes a reserved seat and lanyard), and V.I.P. PLATINUM (which includes a reserved seat, your name included on an exclusive sponsor wall, and merch).

An outdoor performance begins at 8 pm, and the evening’s runway show starts at 9 pm.  There will also be a special music performance by Sophia Stel.
