Felted ornaments, beaded beauties as Toque Craft Fair goes online, December 1 to 5
Sales help both artists and the artist-run culture at home venue Western Front
Western Front presents Toque Craft Fair online to December 5
THE WESTERN Front’s artfully curated assortment of BC makers, the Toque Craft Fair, is moving its holiday offerings online this year.
It’s a chance to support both artists and artist-run culture—and pick up one-of-a-kind holiday gifts.
We love the lifelike needle-felted animals and Scandinavian-inspired home decor from Warm and Drift—as well as their beautiful, nature-inspired ornaments.
Elsewhere, check out Okanagan-based Cloth Tone, whose textile creations source natural materials responsibly, creating handwoven scarves, tablecloths, and other timeless gifts. And check out Littlecrane Beadworks’ colourful new contemporary takes on traditional beading by Scottish and Nehiyah Iskwew artisan Jeska Slater—earrings, snapback hats, and more.
Purchased items will be available for pick up at Western Front on December 11 and 12.
