Vancouver Cantata Singers perform 21st annual Christmas Reprise in Vancouver and New Westminster, December 21
Yearly event at the Holy Rosary Cathedral and Sanctuary on 6th features works by local baritone Shane Raman, German classical composer Franz Biebl, and more
The Vancouver Cantata Singers present the 21st-annual Christmas Reprise on December 21, with a 2 pm performance at the Holy Rosary Cathedral in Vancouver and a 7 pm performance at Sanctuary on 6th (formerly Queens Avenue United Church) in New Westminster.
Audiences are invited to join the Vancouver Cantata Singers in this popular concert of traditional carols and contemporary Christmas compositions amplified by the resonant spaces of two stunning venues. In the bustle of the holiday season, let the beauty of a cappella singing calm the spirit and transport the soul as the choir performs alongside Surrey-born cellist Trisha Doo.
The program features works by the likes of German classical composer Franz Biebl; contemporary composers Ola Gjeilo, Miles Ramsay, and Cecilia McDowall; and Vancouver-based composer and baritone Shane Raman, who is a longtime Vancouver Cantata Singers collaborator.
Tickets to both concerts and more details are available through the Vancouver Cantata Singers.
Post sponsored by Vancouver Cantata Singers.
