Vancouver Chamber Choir's A CHORAL FEAST brings together six ensembles, November 27
One-day pop-up festival brings together the city’s superb small-to-medium-sized vocal ensembles at the Orpheum
Vancouver's choral scene is fresh and dynamic. What we may lose in history, we gain in energy and versatility. While the pandemic stopped this movement in its tracks for a couple of years, it is easy to feel the wave rising again this fall.
To mark this sea change, the Vancouver Chamber Choir is proud to host A CHORAL FEAST, a one-day pop-up festival of the city’s superb small-to-medium-sized vocal ensembles: Laudate Singers, musica intima, Phoenix Chamber Choir, Vancouver Cantata Singers and the Vancouver Youth Choir, all joining their incredible vocal power, at the Orpheum on November 27 at 2:30 pm.
Six ensembles and roughly 200 singers come together at the historic venue to showcase their versatile skills and ultimately join their voices to remind us all that choral music is one of Vancouver's unsung (pun intended) treasures.
