Joby Talbot’s monumental composition Path of Miracles was last performed by the Vancouver Chamber Choir in 2022, but a new production taking place on November 8 will create an even more profound impact with the addition of two dancers from Belle Spirale Dance Projects.

Based on the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage, Talbot’s hour-long work runs the full gamut of human emotions—from eagerness to trepidation, and frustration to ecstasy—and will be an emotional, maybe even spiritual, experience for both the performers and the audience.

Belle Spirale Dance Projects co-artistic director Alexis Fletcher and company dancer Justin Rapaport will perform a self-choreographed dance interpretation of the music. Fellow co-artistic director Sylvain Senez provided dramaturgy and scenic design for the piece.

Don’t miss Path of Miracles at Pacific Spirit United Church on November 8, with performances at 4 pm and 7:30 pm. Tickets and more details are at the Vancouver Chamber Choir.
