Vancouver Chopin Society presents the return of keyboard legend Yefim Bronfman, one of today’s most universally acclaimed and admired pianists, at the Orpheum on April 16 at 7:30 pm.
Born in Tashkent in the Soviet Union, Bronfman immigrated to Israel with his family in 1973, and later to the United States. His commanding technique, stratospheric virtuosity, and exceptional lyrical gifts have time and again been acknowledged by press, audiences, and his fellow musicians. Bronfman is a regular collaborator with some of today’s greatest conductors and orchestras, and also appears in chamber music performances and solo recitals.
A special 15 percent discount is on offer for a double bill of concerts at the Orpheum: Bronfman’s show on April 16, and International Chopin Competition winner Bruce Liu’s piano concert on May 19 at 3 pm.
To purchase tickets, read Bronfman’s detailed artist biography, and view programme information, visit the Vancouver Chopin Society.
