VSO presents Carl Orff's epic Carmina Burana on February 24 and 25 at the Orpheum

Celebrated Canadian soloists join the orchestra plus 150 choristers for the event

On February 24 and 25 at the Orpheum, the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra performs Carl Orff’s epic Carmina Burana.

The concert features celebrated Canadian soloists Benjamin Butterfield (tenor), Tracy Dahl (soprano), and James Westman (baritone).

They and the orchestra join over 150 choristers from the Vancouver Bach Choir and the Vancouver Bach Children’s Choir for one of the most famous classical choral arrangements of the 20th century. Acclaimed Canadian conductor Jordan de Souza is at the podium.

Filled with intense emotion, the power and drama of Carmina Burana is second to none.
