Crazy8s unveils its top six short films at live Gala Screening, May 7 at The Centre

Weeds Are Flowers Too is one of the shorts that will show at the Crazy8s Gala.

It’s time to dust off your party wear: tickets are on sale now for the live, in-person Crazy8s 2022 Gala Screening at The Centre (777 Homer Street) on May 7.

At the annual celebration, Crazy8s Film Society is proud to unveil six brand-new short films made in just eight exhilarating days. They include the black comedy Weeds Are Flowers Too, comedy-horror Consumer, the romance Imran and Alykhan, the fantasy-horror The Far Away Place, the drama The Gold Teeth, and the dramatic thriller Undeveloped.

Following the Gala Screening head over to Science World for Crazy8’s vintage-circus-inspired Crazy8s AfterParty—Vancouver’s largest film and television industry party.

Walk the red carpet, partake in specialty cocktails, grab something cold at our numerous bars, watch some special entertainment, and hit one of two dance floors spun by top DJs. TripleOs will be onsite with its full menu.

Tickets are available here, and provide entry to both the Gala Screening and the AfterParty. The Gala starts at 7 pm.
