In celebration of the Eastside Culture Crawl’s upcoming 28th edition taking place November 14 to 17, the Eastside Arts Society is holding its annual Take Flight fundraiser—the official launch of the festival’s 2024 iteration.

This year’s Take Flight benefit features two ways to support the Culture Crawl: an online Silent Auction, and the popular Art Roulette draw featuring 30 original pieces by Eastside artists. The benefit celebrates art, community, and nearly three decades of crawling Vancouver’s Eastside Arts District. Support of this fundraiser allows the Eastside Arts Society, producers of the festival, to continue offering free Culture Crawl programming.

The Art Roulette art draw is the most celebrated highlight of the annual Take Flight benefit. This year, 30 Eastside artists donated an original piece of artwork, valued on average over $800 apiece. Each lucky ticket holder ranks the artwork and is given a unique draw number that’s entered into the random draw. The numbers are chosen, and the ticket holder receives the highest-ranked artwork available from their list. Art Roulette is an exciting way for art lovers to start or build their art collection, support the Culture Crawl, and be introduced to amazing art.
