Got Craft? Holiday Market is back with 80 innovative makers at the Croatian Cultural Centre on December 18 and 19
Crochet cozies, clay jewellery, and fantasy postage stamps and more
Got Craft? Holiday Market takes place at the Croatian Cultural Centre on December 18 and 19
LAST-MINUTE shoppers still have a chance to scope out unique hand-crafted goodies at Got Craft? Holiday Market, which returns to East Vancouver’s Croatian Cultural Centre with 80 makers and small shops. There’s also a “kidpreneuers” area, and food trucks on site.
Highlights include some of the one-of-a-kind jewellery. We love Fancypop’s teensy bubble-tea pendants and sushi-roll earrings. On the other end of the spectrum are Kahu Creations’ chunky geometric polymer-clay pieces. Look closely at Miguel Molina’s clever pop-culture references in black-and-white enamel-pin fantasy postage “stamps”, from J.R. Tolkien to Dr. Who.
Elsewhere, Frayed Macrame and GingerSnap’s crochet knit and knot together fun textile pieces, from retro coasters to cute cup cozies. Gourmet finds, artisan candles, pottery, and much more awaits—and you won’t find any of it amid the mall crowds.
