Kay Meek Arts Centre is hosting a special presentation of Grant Lawrence and Friends on May 26 from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm at the Grosvenor Theatre.

Audiences are invited to join the award-winning local author-broadcaster-musician for a new show filled with his hilarious and poignant true stories and slides about growing up in West Vancouver, coupled with excellent performances by hand-picked musical guests.

Special appearances from B.C.-based artists include Juno Award-winning indie rock band Said the Whale; singer Ashleigh Ball of indie pop group Hey Ocean!; singer-guitarist Hayden Roth; bagpipe group Docs’n’Socs Pipe Band; and singer-songwriter Jill Barber.

Lawrence’s latest book Return To Solitude was the number one best-selling B.C. book of 2022, and his stories have appeared everywhere from Cottage Life Magazine to the North Shore News to national radio.

Tickets to the performance, sponsored by Sager Financial Group/Sager Nairne Legal Council, are available at Kay Meek Arts Centre.
