Shadbolt Centre for the Arts is hosting Monica Lee’s interactive theatrical presentation You, Me and the Moon on May 28 at 2 pm and 8 pm.

Lee dances the audience through playful storytelling, energetic sing-alongs, and soothing balms in this family-friendly show appropriate for people of all ages, from babies to grandparents.

Titled after Lee’s album of the same name, You, Me and the Moon explores the deep connection between parents and children. Using projected visuals, puppets, and songs she wrote for her children, Lee weaves a story inspired by her own childhood being sung to sleep by her Trinidadian father.

Lee is a Vancouver-based multidisciplinary artist known for her powerful roots, jazz, and country song writing over the past 20 years. She is a charismatic children’s educator through her company Jump Into Music.

Lee will be accompanied by accomplished Vancouver-based guitarist Paul Pigat for the live show.

Tickets are available for purchase here.
