Confirmed: TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival moves ahead with details for live indoor concerts
Free tickets for shows at Performance Works and Ironworks are on offer later this week
WITH WORD FROM BC Health Authorities that Step 2 of the Restart Plan will go ahead as scheduled tomorrow, the Coastal Jazz & Blues Society has confirmed it will welcome live audiences to Performance Works and The Ironworks, during its TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival.
At Performance Works, audiences of 40 will be permitted at the free daytime shows (daily at 2:30 pm from June 25 to July 4) and the evening ticketed events (8 pm, June 25 to July 4).
At the smaller Ironworks space, audiences of 25 will be allowed into free daytime shows (4:30pm, June 25-July 4) and the evening ticketed events (9:00pm, June 25-July 4).
Seating arrangements and physical distancing will be in full compliance with provincial health guidelines and will be strictly enforced. Festival safety plans are available on the Coastal Jazz website’s Attending a Show page, along with information about registering for tickets, and more.
Tickets won’t be available at the venue under the protocols. Patrons must register for these tickets in advance in order to comply.
Coastal Jazz & Blues Society supporters will get first dibs on the seats on Thursday, June 17 at 10 am at coastaljazz.ca. The free tickets open to the wider public on Saturday, June 19 at 10 am.
Events at the Western Front, Tom Lee Music and Pyatt Hall, as well as the International Streaming Series, will remain virtual, the fest confirmed.
