Lineup also includes Korea’s Dongyang Gozupa, Toronto soul songstress Tanika Charles, and BC’s Blue Moon Marquee

Haiti’s Wesli closes the fest on its mainstage.

The festival site is at Fraser River Heritage Park.
THE MISSION FOLK Music Festival has just announced the 2023 lineup of Canadian and international acts—spanning Celtic, blues, bluegrass, and soul—for its 36th annual festival, July 21 to 23 in Fraser River Heritage Park.
Among the headliners are Korea’s Dongyang Gozupa, with its mashup of traditional folk and indie pop; Toronto soul songstress Tanika Charles; and Haiti’s Wesli, with its mix of Haitian roots music with world, Afrobeat, and hip-hop sounds on the mainstage Saturday night. From BC, Blue Moon Marquee helps kick off the festival Friday night, and revered Canadian singer-songwriter-poet-storyteller David Francey returns to the main stage on Sunday.
More than 20 acts in all are slated to perform at daytime stages and on the evening main stage in the park. Other artists include Kentucky Eileen, Abigail Lapell, Tennyson King, OKAN, Graham Lindsey, Skye Consort & Emma Björling, Leonard Sumner, and Cedric Watson & Jourdan Thibodeaux.
Beyond the concerts, look for daytime music workshops, interactive programming for Wee Folks, Food and Artisan Market vendors, and a licensed, shaded Bistro. Attendees can also camp in the park for an additional fee.
Tickets are here. Early Bird Weekend Pass ticket pricing is extended until midnight, May 31 ($45 to $110 plus tax). Prices move to Tier 2 for weekend passes on June 1 ($50 to $135 plus tax). Tier 2 advance ticket sales run from May 15 to July 20, and include one-day passes and evening passes at all ticket levels. Prices are higher at the gate.
