NORTH VAN ARTS has just announced Anna Lynch as its new executive director.

Lynch, who is a textile and visual artist, has previously held positions at Arts Whistler and Pemberton Arts Council, becoming a driving force in the Sea to Sky arts scene.

With a bachelor of arts in film production, Lynch has forged a dynamic career in the arts and nonprofit sector over the past decade, prioritizing equity, inclusion, and community enrichment.

In her own work, Lynch focuses on mixed-media art landscapes. She also teaches workshops in knitting and needle felting.

“We eagerly anticipate Anna taking the helm, bringing with her a fresh perspective, and fostering ongoing creativity in our organization,” North Van Arts said in a statement

Located in CityScape Community ArtSpace, North Van Arts was founded in 1969 as the North Vancouver Community Arts Council, and is a grassroots, nonprofit organization dedicated to enabling emerging and professional artists in all disciplines to bridge cultures and build strong communities through the arts.
