Shadbolt Centre for the Arts is showing the notable new play Driving Me Crazy on March 21 and 22 at 8 pm.

Written by Linda A. Carson and Suzanne Ristic, Driving Me Crazy is about a family and their relationships with each other as experienced through their vehicles.

Inspired by stories from three generations, the plot follows Liz, a grandmother fighting to keep her driver‘s licence and independence; her son and daughter-in-law, who are addicted to their cars; her granddaughter, who is passionate about the environmental fight against oil guzzling vehicles; and her grandson, who will learn hard lessons about drinking and driving.

Anyone who has driven a car, been driven in a car, or been driven mad by their own family will laugh, cry, and gasp at this play starring Ellie King, Merewyn Comeau, Dylan Floyde, Brian Linds, and Suzanne Ristic.

The show, directed by Roy Surette, received an honourable mention in Theatre BC’s 2019 National Canadian Playwriting Competition.

Tickets are available here.
