Brewing North Shore Culture Treasure Hunt features 11 breweries and terrific prizes

Did you know that Canada’s first ever microbrewery opened on Vancouver’s North Shore in 1982? It was only in 2013 that breweries were permitted to operate tasting rooms, and since then craft breweries have hopped boldly into North Shore culture.

Presented by North Shore Culture Compass and Vancouver’s North Shore Tourism, the Brewing North Shore Culture Treasure Hunt was launched in celebration of Craft Beer Week 2022.

Clues are located online and in person. Once you’ve followed the clues, unscrambled the letters, and found the code, you can enter the Grand Prize draw to win a day out on the North Shore any time before November 30. Beyond this date, the prize is the satisfaction of exploring local culture... And beer.

Download and print the Treasure Hunt here or collect a hard copy at CityScape Community ArtSpace, participating breweries, or at select hotels across the North Shore.

Remember to drink responsibly and pace yourself. The clues do not have to be found all in one go. Take your time and enjoy the unique atmosphere that each brewery has to offer. It’s most fun completed as a team!

Craft Beer Week is a series of special events at 11 participating North Shore Breweries taking place through to November 14, featuring music, limited-edition beers, food pop-ups, games, giveaways, and more.
