Rumble Theatre’s 2020 edition of Tremors, running October 28 to 31, switches gears from full-length plays to focus on eight innovative, genre-crossing new works in development.
Passes are free to the exciting program of multidisciplinary performances spans theatre, dance, music, video, and Virtual Reality. Excerpts of the works, which grew out of residencies at Rumble’s Progress Lab 1422 home in August, have been recorded and will be available for passholders starting October 28.
The lineup includes: Rage Sweater Theatre Productions’ 100 YT Guys in an Hour; Dusty Foot Productions’ Attachments; Munish Sharma/Danceboy Company’s Danceboy: First Dance; The Public Swoon’s Low Grade Euphoria; Immigrant Lessons’ Origins: V; Joshua Ongcol’s the fire that runs through; Subjects of History’s The time it takes me to get to you; and Anais West’s Underground Absolute Fiction: A Video ‘Zine.
The fest is also hosting screenings and artists chats nightly from October 28 to October 31, starting at 6:30 pm. These viewing parties/virtual studio visits. Viewers can take part from home or live in a socially distanced, open-air setting.
