Vancouver Art Gallery Spring Forward auction ends June 15 at 1 pm
Gathie Falk, Dana Claxton, Landon Mackenzie, and more artists have work in a range of media on the block
The Vancouver Art Gallery Spring Forward Art Auction runs online via Heffel Fine Art Auction House until June 15 at 1 pm.
A BUMPY, retro-orange vase by movie-comedy star Seth Rogan and two bronze shoes by iconic BC artist Gathie Falk are just two of the highlights at the Vancouver Art Gallery Spring Forward Art Auction.
There’s just one more day to place bids here on the paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, sculptures, and media works on offer. The auction, hosted by Heffel Fine Art Auctions and set to close June 15 at 1 pm sharp, features names like Hank Bull, Bobbie Burgers, Landon Mackenzie, and Lyse Lemieux.
Highlights include a work from Dana Claxton’s "NDN Ironworkers" series, photographic portraits of Indigenous workers; the bronze sculpture Green Running Shoes by Falk; the carved, red-cedar Killer Whale Mask by Beau Dick; an untitled Cindy Sherman photo; and Carol Sawyer’s silver gelatin print Vessel Group.
