After a two-week tour of Ontario, the Vancouver Chamber Choir will return home to present Into Light, a celebration of light, hope, and renewal, at Pacific Spirit United Church on March 7 at 7:30 pm.

This program focuses on the shift from winter to spring and darkness to light. Along with works by composer-in-residence laura hawley, Nico Muhly, Alex Freeman, and Matthew Whittall, the concert features three pieces by Tarik O’Regan, a U.S.-based composer of Arab and Irish heritage. While on tour in Toronto, the choir will work with O’Regan and six emerging composers as part of Soundstreams’ RBC Bridges Emerging Composers Showcase.

For those who find themselves in Ontario this winter, catch the Vancouver Chamber Choir on tour in Guelph on February 23, Midland on February 24, Toronto on February 27, Ottawa on March 1, and Kingston on March 5.

Tickets are available through the Vancouver Chamber Choir.
