Vancouver Pride will take over the city from July 3 to August 3, hosting more than 60 virtual and in-person events to celebrate.

Registration and tickets ($0 to $10) are now available.

As one of the first in-person summer festivals since COVID-19 started, Vancouver Pride Society will bring the pandemic-friendly VanPrideFest to Jonathan Rogers Park in Mount Pleasant from July 30 to August 1, 2021. From yoga to drag to music, the series of free open-air programming with community partners offers 10 different time slots dedicated to the specificities of the local 2SLGBTQAI+ community. The event is free but registration is required to comply with provincial health orders.

In a festival first, COVID-safe Pride Lounges will pop up downtown at Jim Deva Plaza, Stanley Park Brewpub, and šxʷƛ ̓ ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square at the Vancouver Art Gallery, July 23 to 25 and July 30 to August 1. People can book a time slot in advance for up to six people within their bubble and enjoy drinks under the summer sky with lounge-style entertainment.

VanPride Classroom takes place online from July 19 to 28. Facilitators and experts will deliver five Pride Intensives on different topics in workshops where active participation is encouraged. Up to 100 people can attend each free session; registration required.

This year’s Decentralized Pride Parade Broadcast happens August 1 at 12 pm PDT.
