Vancouver Street Dance Festival busts out big moves for 10th anniversary, July 30 at Robson Square
Free celebration features battles in forms like house and waacking
Vancouver Street Dance Festival takes place at Robson Square on July 30 from noon to 8 pm
AFTER A PANDEMIC hiatus, the largest outdoor street-dance festival in the Pacific Northwest and Canada is back popping and breaking at Robson Square, marking its 10th anniversary on July 30.
Drop by the open-air Vancouver Street Dance Festival for dance battles, showcase performances, live music, DJs, and workshops—all free.
At noon, check out performances by crews like Beast Machine, TableTutors, and Gigabots.
Then, at 12:45 pm, you’ll see the top semi-finalist competitors in popping, breaking, hip-hop, and youth all-style.
Two o’clock marks performances by the likes of Malicious Vixens and DUALIS Krump.
At 4:15 pm, secure your spot in the crowd for competitions in house, locking, and waacking. Then, at 5, crews like the Vancouver Locking Unit show their stuff.
The final battles in all categories bring the house down at 8 pm. Arrive early for the 7:30 pm judges’ showcase.
There's much more, all day long; bring water, sunblock, and your best moves.
