Circle Craft Christmas Market runs at the Vancouver Convention Centre West until November 13

SERENE CERAMICS, quirky wood art, eclectic jewellery, and scent-sational handmade soaps and candles are just some of the items on offer at this year’s Circle Craft Christmas Market—the biggest of its kind on the Vancouver holiday roster, running to November 13 at Vancouver Convention Centre West.

Nearing its 50th anniversary, the market features more than 250 artisans this year—more than 65 of them new.

Among those newcomers, check out Sadie & June’s vintage map prints; Studio & Tenth’s botanical and bird artwork on stonewashed French linen tea towels and cotton market bags; VEDRO Creative’s code-graphics-and-geometrics engraved silver jewellery; Kay Pop Art Studio’s artworks made from damaged library books, with images from the story painted on top of the pages. and for the avid home bartender on your list, Spirits With Smke’s cocktail smoking boards and kits.

Also worth checking out: Susie Kathol Ceramics’ owl plates, Riddle’s whale- and bear-themed cribbage boards, and dconstruct’s funky resin jewellery.

In all, the artists come from coast to coast—Gabriola Island to Revelstoke, and beyond to Edmonton, Winnipeg, Québec City, and beyond.
