Vines Art Society invites folks to the Vines Den for a Tattoo Gathering fundraiser, featuring a lineup of Indigenous tattoo artists, on April 26 and 27 from 11 am to 9 pm.

Funds raised from the tattoos will go directly to Vines Art Society’s Artist Survival & Healing Fund, which specifically benefits land-back and cultural-care workers. Flash tattoos will be available, with pricing on a sliding scale from $150 to $250.

Several traditional Indigenous tattoo artists will be welcomed into the space at 825 Hastings Street, including Citlamina Mejia, Xiucoatl Mejia, intheforesttattoo, Michaela, Vance Wright, and Gwa. More artists will be announced on Vines Art Society’s Instagram and Facebook pages in the lead-up to the event.

Be sure to register early using this link to reserve a tattoo appointment spot. Time slots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
