Super, natural British Columbia offers the perfect growing conditions for a natural superfood: The province is home to one of the largest highbush blueberry regions in the world.

Local blueberry growers have been perfecting their craft for generations, producing 150 million pounds of premium-quality berries annually.

To celebrate the arrival of fresh blueberries in British Columbia, GoBlueBC Taste or Travel Contest is now running until August 2.

Sponsored by White Spot Restaurants and Triple O’s, the Grand Prize is a total of $1,000 in gift cards to both of the iconic B.C. restaurants. Try their new blueberry menu, including Fresh BC Blueberry Pie, BC Blueberry Halloumi Salad, BC Blueberry Milkshake, and Cheesecake with fresh BC Blueberries at White Spot, or the Frozen Blueberry Lemonade and Blueberry Milkshake at Triple O’s.

BC Ferries is offering the Explore Prize, one of five round-trip ferry passes between the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island (includes one vehicle and driver plus three passengers, each valued at $275.60). Grab a piece of limited-edition BC Blueberry Pie at the Coastal Café while onboard.

To enter to win the Taste or Travel Contest, visit GoBlueBC. Winners will be announced in early August.
